Scottish-Finnish Ceilidh

After the success of last year’s event, we have decided to do it again! Join us on Sunday 8th December at the Ukrainian Community Centre in Edinburgh, for some live Finnish folk music and Scottish ceilidh dancing. We may be a few days late to celebrate Finnish Independence Day, but 8th December happens to be the birthday of Jean Sibelius, as well as the Day of Finnish Music!

Everyone is welcome, whether they are Finns or not, so come along and bring your friends and family! Tickets are limited, so book yours now to avoid disappointment.

This year’s event will be a slightly simpler affair with the ceilidh and music as the main focus, so there will not be a dinner beforehand. However, tickets will include a welcome drink and snacks, and there is also a bar at the venue (cash and cards accepted).

When: Sunday 8th December. Doors open 6pm. Ceilidh 7pm-8.30pm. Event ends at 9pm.

Where: Ukrainian Community Centre, 14 Royal Terrace, Edinburgh EH7 5AB

Dress code: Smart casual

Children are welcome to join us too! Get 50% off ticket price for under 18s with the codes CHILD (or SFSCHILD for members).
