Upcoming Events

Midsummer, Sunday 26th June 2022, 13:00-16:00

Join us on the afternoon of Sunday 26th June for our annual SFS barbecue – we’ll be back at Edinburgh Academy Playing Fields, just off Kinnear Road. Please note that we’ll be at the OLD PAVILLION again this year (rather than the New Pavilion that has been used some years).
As is tradition, just bring along something to put on the grill and we’ll provide the rest – the barbecue itself, salads, rolls, condiments and so on. Soft drinks will also be provided, but feel free to bring along anything you’d like to drink in addition to that.
Most importantly, EVERYONE is welcome, whether you’re a member or not, Finn or not, and whatever your age – there will be games and plenty of space to spread out for a picnic and catch up with friends.
Entrance costs £5 for members and £7 for non-members; simply pay on the day (please bring cash).
Children under the age of 12 go free.
Hope to see you there!

SFS saunoo – Loch Tay sauna, Saturday 27th July 2019

Then we have just the thing for you! After last year’s successful visit to the sauna at Loch Tay, the Scottish-Finnish Society has now reserved the whole sauna for two hours on Saturday 27th July to allow our members and friends to enjoy the sauna, the loch (with a slide!), the bar, the view and some excellent company.
